Reiko Kanise was born and grew up in Fukuoka, a major southwestern Japanese city blessed with the bounty of nature. In 1975, she joined Hakuhodo, Japan’s leading advertising agency, as a branding specialist and copywriter primarily in the field of food and cosmetics before becoming in 1999 President and CEO of Aeon Forest, the head franchisee of The Body Shop in Japan. Her passion and dedication for setting women free from uncomfortable skin disorders led her to start her own skincare firm in 2007 and create LENAJAPON brand. It is now internationally recognized as top quality natural skin care products available online. She is the first female board member of the mejor Japanese company. She also serves an important role in the commission of the Japanese Government's Cabinet Office.

Born in the bustling Japanese capital city of Tokyo on Dec.1, 1986, Lena Kanise is a performing artist both in acting and dancing. She won the grand prix in the dance division and top prizes in six other categories at the 2007 International Models and Talent Association (IMTA) competition in New York. In 2009, she was the runner-up in “LUX Shine Actress” audition, and received intensive acting training in Hollywood. Lena’s passion dates back to her childhood. She began taking piano and vocal lessons at age three and took up classical ballet at age six. Her first major stage experience was her role as a child slave during the Florence Opera House’s “Aida” Japan tour in 1997. After studying at the American School in England in 2002, she was accepted by the English National Ballet School in London as professional course student. After rigorous training she was among the dancers selected to perform before the Queen of England in London in August, 2007. Upon graduating from the prestigious ballet school, Lena went on to learn contemporary dance at the Rotterdam Dance Academy (CODARTS) in the Netherlands. During the summer of 2007, she also worked with the Monte Carlo Ballet in Monaco. With hopes of broadening her horizons, she appeared in numerous television detective stories and commercials and played a key role in “Yoshitune”, a historical saga staged at temples in Japan. At the 2010 Shanghai Expo, she played a pivotal role in a Chinese musical-play. Furthermore, following the devastating 2011 earthquake-tsunami that hit northeastern Japan, she performed for charity events to help the financially burdened victims. While in Tokyo, she brushed up on her acting skills at United Performers’ Studio run by Ms. Yoko Narahashi, an internationally renowned producer andcasting director, and at Actors Clinic headed by Mr. Toshi Shioya, Ms. Narahashi’s protégé, and kept up dancing career at Asami Maki Ballet Company. In 2012 she moved to New York City to join the famous acting studio, Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Besides her artist career, she is a qualified yoga instructor, and teaches Mindfulness&Vinyasa Yoga. Currently she is the CEO of LENAJAPON USA and hopes to make many people in U.S happy with their skin!
